IN MEMORIAM

The Society has lost long-time member Marge Zander Michels Pearson. We extend our sympathy to her family. Marge lived all her life in Thornton and graduated from Thornton Public School and Thornton Township High School. A member of St. Paul Church, she served as church organist and secretary for many years. As a parent, she was an active supporter of Little League, Cub Scouts, Wolcott PTA and the Wolcott band. Marge served the Village of Thornton as Police Clerk for over 20 years. She was also a lifetime member of Thornton’s Historical Society. Her efforts in her retirement were focused on her Family, Church and Historical Society. Marge will truly be missed.
